let me tell you just a little about foreigners here in Nigeria.
Can you imagine a foreigner being treated like some prime minister? Yes, that is exactly how Nigerians treat foreigners. And just when I thought I have seen it all, the University I work with presently has foreigners as lecturers, and of course they are still called expatriates, but that is not all, they are paid over $7000 a month, they all have at least 2 bedrooms flats of their own and a Vehicle with a driver, all provided by the school authorities.
The senerio above is disgusting to fellow Nigerians because there are millions of Nigerians who can do the same job those foreigners are doing--- even much more better, for instance; some of the foreigners speak English but it sounds so strange to us, and you have to listen carefully to even comprehend what they are saying….. seriously I feel for those students they are teaching.
This is Nigeria for you. We love foreigners. We treat foreigners with far more respect than they usually have in their home country. We make you feel at home and take care of you in anyway humanly possible. Our government love strangers more than our fellow countrymen and that is why strangers troop in here to have all our jobs because Nigeria is indeed good to strangers!
The Nigerian government may be bad to her citizens but never to foreigners.
Who did we offend???
.I'm against the way and manner foreigners are being treated by our government and even fellow Nigerians. They almost always go butterflies when they see a white foreigner. We do foreigners favours we won't do to our countrymen and women. We know how Nigerians get treated abroad, I'm not saying we should return evil for evil, I only want us to value our fellow countrymen like we value foreigners.
God bless NNigeria
